Indel Power Group in Portsmouth, VA is seeking a B2B Collections Specialist to join the corporate Credit & Collections team. You will manage commercial customer accounts, drive timely payment, resolve billing disputes, and collaborate with customers and internal teams.

This full-time role requires hands-on collections experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to resolving accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections experience, preferably B2B.
• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience managing customer relationships and resolving disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of B2B customer accounts and collect past-due balances.
• Conduct outbound collection calls and follow up on payment commitments.
• Monitor account activity and identify accounts requiring credit holds or escalation.
• Research and resolve billing, pricing, payment, and service disputes.
• Establish and monitor customer payment plans.
• Process customer payments and assist with missing or unclear remittances.
• Provide invoices, statements, contracts, and supporting documentation to customers.
• Partner with Sales, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Solutions to resolve account issues.
• Prepare delinquent accounts for outside collection agencies when necessary.
• Maintain accurate account notes, documentation, and reporting.

Indel Power Group is seeking an experienced B2B Collections Specialist to join our corporate Credit & Collections team in Portsmouth, VA. What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication, negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Contract review experience preferred
