Job summary

Herc Rentals invites applications for a Customer Accounts Specialist US position in Bonita Springs, FL. You will manage a portfolio of accounts from billing through receivable resolution, using calls, emails, and faxes to secure payments and payment plans while maintaining strong customer relations.

Reporting to the Collection Supervisor within Finance Shared Services, you will collaborate with sales and regional branches, process billing adjustments, handle unapplied payments, and help drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred; but 3–5 years AR experience in collections.
• One-year credit and B2B collection experience.
• Previous customer service and professional telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact B2B customers to collect past due invoices.
• Process billing adjustments and resolve discrepancies urgently.
• Release/hold orders and resolve unapplied payments or suspensions.
• Suggest actions to reduce uncollectible accounts and report to dept heads.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers to improve processes.
• Assist in projects and other collection tasks as needed.
