Qualifications

• Experience in B2B collections, AR, or related accounting/finance roles.
• Strong ability to analyze account activity and resolve payment issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer focus.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and collect outstanding balances on assigned B2B customer accounts.
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection activities on accounts over 30 days past due.
• Contact customers by phone and email regarding invoice status and due amounts.
• Research and resolve billing disputes, payment discrepancies, and customer concerns.
• Reissue current and past-due invoices as needed.
• Document collection efforts, payment discussions, and customer communications in the system.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Billing, Cash Application, and Accounting teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and escalate unresolved matters as needed.
• Assist with account reconciliations, unapplied cash research, and audit requests.
• Maintain accurate customer records and collection notes.
