Job summary

The position is temp to hire and offers hourly compensation between $20 and $24, with opportunity to contribute to month-end AR reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' B2B collections or accounts receivable experience.
• Strong phone and email communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to negotiate payment solutions professionally.
• Experience reviewing aging reports and high-volume collections.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Contact customers by phone and email to resolve past-due invoices.
• Research account discrepancies, payment issues, and billing disputes.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize collections by risk.
• Process account adjustments, payment arrangements, and credit documents.
• Maintain records of collection activities and communications.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate unapplied cash.
• Assist with month-end AR reporting and analysis.
• Support continuous improvement of credit and collections processes.
