Job summary

Everforth ECS in Fairfax, VA seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure across enterprise systems and cloud environments. The role focuses on protecting assets and aligning with security requirements, with close collaboration across SOC, admins, and engineers.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Azure-based security experience, DoD clearance, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering/security operations/systems/networks/cloud security.
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+ (or higher).
• Hybrid work capacity in Fairfax, VA (up to 3 days in office).
• Travel <20% across Program deployments.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, and support cybersecurity tools and controls.
• Architect secure solutions for enterprise systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Support security architecture decisions with input on feasibility and operations.
• Apply security engineering practices across system lifecycle including deployment and sustainment.
