Job summary

SarelaTech seeks a highly qualified Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support DoD programs at Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. The roleArchitects, engineers, and sustains secure hybrid cloud solutions across Azure and AWS, aligning with DoD guidance and RMF.

Candidates must have TS/SCI clearance and hands-on IaC experience. Responsibilities include building greenfield cloud environments, implementing Zero Trust, managing Intune/Defender/AVD, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 12+ years of relevant experience
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or equivalent
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• 5+ years of enterprise cloud solutions experience
• Experience with Azure and AWS hybrid cloud deployments
• Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation)
• Experience automating cloud admin via PowerShell and Python
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and RMF
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
• Familiarity with DoD security policies and NIST guidance

Responsibilities

• Architect secure hybrid cloud solutions on Azure and AWS
• Design greenfield cloud environments for DoD mission requirements
• Develop secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures per DoD guidance
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation
• Manage endpoint security tools (Intune, Defender, Purview, AVD)
• Integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments
• Provide cloud monitoring, backup, DR, and security services
• Automate deployments with PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, and AWS CLI
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and systems engineering teams
• Support RMF compliance and accreditation activities
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies for mission objectives
