Job summary
Everforth ECS is seeking a Lead Technical Engineer to join our hybrid on-site / remote team in Fairfax, VA and support DoD cloud and network initiatives. You will lead engineering efforts across secure DoD IL4/5 cloud environments, on‑premise infrastructure, and integration projects for a DoW customer.
The role requires deep technical expertise, TS clearance, and strong communication to coordinate with clients, partners, and government representatives while guiding architectures, security
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or STEM.
- Active AWS certifications: CLF-C02, SAA-C03.
- Hybrid work capability with up to 3 onsite days per week in Fairfax, VA.
- 10+ years in IT and cloud, incl. 5+ years on cloud projects and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Architect, configure, and manage DoD environments.
- Monitor security compliance, remediations, and patching for unclassified envs.
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Install, test, and upgrade network OS and hardware per DoD requirements.
- Implement and maintain ICAM, access controls, and security policies.
- Lead risk mitigation activities (A&A, continuous monitoring).
- Evaluate customer issues and guide technologies and delivery strategy.
- Hybrid work with onsite visits to Fairfax and occasional SCIF use.
