Job summary

Everforth ECS in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. This hybrid onsite/remote role supports DoD programs with travel to CONUS/OCONUS as needed.

The candidate should have 10+ years of cloud engineering experience, strong automation skills, and security clearances. You will collaborate with DoD partners to deliver resilient cloud solutions and CI/CD automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related professional experience in cloud engineering.
• Experience designing, engineering, and deploying infrastructure in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud technologies (Windows/Linux endpoints).
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (VPNs, DNS, load balancing).
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+ within 60 days of hire.
• Hybrid onsite/remote capacity in Fairfax, VA (up to 3 days in office).
• Travel up to 20% CONUS/OCONUS for program sites.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions in AWS/Azure.
• Integrate, collaborate with SMEs to implement multi-cloud solutions.
• Support partner network integration, testing, and monitoring.
• Leverage automation, orchestration, and security services for large DoD programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
