Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support customers’ innovative use of compute, storage, databases, and more. You’ll act as the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

The TAM provides advocacy and strategic guidance, collaborates with engineers to resolve issues, and helps plan deployments that keep AWS environments healthy and resilient. Travel up to 10% will be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Act as principal technical advisor to customers across AWS services.
• Collaborate with internal engineers to see issues through to resolution.
• Develop strategies to drive customer adoption of AWS technologies.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership on incidents and risk.
