Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to engage an existing Large ISV customer in transformative projects spanning IT strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations.

As the customer facing relationship owner, you will define business outcomes, build trust, create proposals, secure SOW sign-off, and ensure delivery of agreed CBOs while driving revenue and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of technology/software sales experience or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
• Experience with cloud technologies and IT strategies.
• Experience working with Data & AI technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
• Professional working proficiency in German — ability to conduct business conversations, present to customers, and navigate SAP's Walldorf-headquartered organization in German.

Responsibilities

• Leading business development efforts by engaging customers and driving high-value engagements.
• Collaborating with Amazon Global Sales (AGS) representatives to ensure a coordinated approach for key accounts.
• Creating proposals, securing customer sign-off on Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitoring ongoing projects to ensure delivery of agreed CBOs and maximize revenue potential.
• Advocating for customers while balancing AWS business objectives.
