Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) is seeking an AWS Practice Manager to lead growth, delivery execution, and workforce management across AWS Platform Services. You will guide Platform Architects, engineers, and delivery leads, ensuring credible execution with AWS stakeholders while building a scalable practice rather than hands-on architecture.

The role partners with AWS teams to ensure achievable commitments, staffing alignment, and high-quality customer outcomes, driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading cloud consulting, professional services, or technology delivery organizations with direct people-management accountability.
• Demonstrated experience managing AWS-focused teams delivering complex customer transformation programs.
• Strong architectural knowledge across broad AWS platform services, with ability to evaluate approaches, identify risk, and coach senior professionals.
• Experience governing delivery portfolios and improving execution across scope, schedule, quality, financial performance, and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating health and execution quality of the AWS Platform Services portfolio, including delivery governance, project reviews, recovery actions, and follow-through.
• Ensure delivery teams have clear roles, staffing, realistic plans, and timely access to escalation.
• Promote repeatable delivery methods, reusable assets, documentation, and lessons learned across engagements.
• Engage with customers when leadership intervention is required to reset expectations or protect delivery outcomes.
• Provide direct people leadership for AWS Platform Architects, engineers, consultants, and delivery leads; set goals, conduct reviews, and develop talent.
