Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) is recruiting a Practice Manager to lead a defined technical practice, oversee personnel and vendor relationships, and help grow consulting revenue across $10M–$25M annually. You will work with Delivery, Sales, Marketing and other practices to optimize offerings and capitalize on market opportunities.

The role requires 15+ years of IT consulting leadership, strong executive communication, and the ability to coordinate cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years project management leadership experience in an IT consulting service provider environment.
• Program management experience (i.e., able to manage a portfolio of projects concurrently).
• Practice-centric experience required (e.g., Application Management, Data Management, QA or Application Development experience).
• Consulting business development experience preferred.
• Experience with India and North America based employees/teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects and initiatives.
• Forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization for practice.
• Develop systems to measure our performance against industry standards and clearly articulate our successes and challenges.
• Grow long-term relationships with clients and capitalize on partnership opportunities.
