Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Technician to maintain the heartbeat of our global cloud infrastructure in our data centers. You will perform server rack installations, diagnose hardware and network issues, and respond to incidents to keep services available.

This role requires on-call rotations, travel between data centers, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. You’ll join a diverse team and contribute to safety, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Lifts and racks equipment up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents affecting service availability.
• Carry out routine network, server hardware, and OS repairs to improve availability.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call duties, maintenance, and change management.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
