Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Wink, TX is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform server rack installations, hardware repair, and network diagnostics, and participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations.

You will work with teams across AWS, travel between data centers as needed, and must be able to lift 40 pounds, work shifts including nights and weekends, and adhere to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• 18+ months of computer layer 1/2 networking experience (including troubleshooting and repair)

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware repair to ensure availability.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents affecting services.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call duties and maintenance/change management.
• Document issues and contribute to process improvements and onboarding.
