Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to maintain AWS global infrastructure across Texas data centers. You will perform server rack installations, hardware diagnostics, and network troubleshooting while participating in on-call rotations and site travel to ensure uptime.

This role requires shift work, coordination with engineers, and documentation of incidents. You will contribute to change management and onboarding of new team members, supporting 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 18 months of hardware troubleshooting experience.
• 18 months of Layer 1/2 networking experience.
• Willingness to travel between data center locations and work at multiple sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents.
• Participate in on-call duties and scheduled maintenance and change management.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
• Assist in interviewing, training and onboarding new team members.
