Job summary

ASM Research seeks an AWS Connect Developer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS serverless services. You will build IVR flows, Python-based Lambda functions, and secure API integrations to connect interactions with enterprise data.

Responsibilities include provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, managing GitLab CI/CD, and ensuring reliability, security, and operational visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1) 8–15 years IT experience including 3–4 years cloud engineering.
• 3) Associate-level cloud certification required.
• 4) Hands-on Amazon Connect config and IVR design.
• 5) Proficiency with Python Lambda and RESTful API integrations.
• 6) DynamoDB modeling, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD experience.
• 7) U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows including IVR and routing.
• Develop Python Lambda functions and validate integration responses.
• Design DynamoDB tables, keys, and indexes for efficient storage.
• Build secure RESTful integrations using API Gateway and Lambda.
• Provision cloud infrastructure with Terraform and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement least-privilege security and logging for sensitive data.
• Troubleshoot routing, latency, and availability; improve reliability.
• Document logic, contracts, deployments, and provide guidance to teammates.
