Job summary

Bridgewell seeks a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings in Massachusetts. You will provide daily living assistance, skills training, and supervision across day, evening, and overnight shifts, with training in MAP, PABC, and related safety protocols.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or 5+ years verified experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to drive large wheelchair van with a valid US driver s license and at least 1 year driving experience.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email).

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with ADLs during day, evening, and overnight hours.
• Help develop independence by offering opportunities and skill-building.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in service delivery.
• Assist with medical, clinical, and financial needs of clients.
• Transport and accompany clients to activities outside the program.
• Maintain daily progress notes and shift documentation.
