Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You will assist with daily activities, supervision, and skills training while promoting independence.

Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 11:00pm–9:00am (30 hours/week). You will maintain documentation, coordinate with guardians, and ensure safety and compliance with program policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of verified experience in the same position is required.
• 1 year of experience with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training in all activities of daily living during day/evening/overnight hours.
• Create opportunities to foster independence and decision-making.
• Comply with regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Maintain daily progress notes and shift documentation.
• Conduct overnight safety checks and care coordination with guardians.
