Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Construction Casualty in the central territory. The role focuses on technical underwriting and account management for middle market construction casualty programs.

Responsibilities include underwriting, pricing, quote proposals, and coordinating post-bind activities, renewals, and risk assessments in collaboration with risk engineering and claims. Travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• 10 years of Casualty underwriting experience; construction underwriting preferred.
• Established broker relationships within the region would be ideal.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training required.
• CPCU or CRIS designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solicits and reviews new and renewal account information to evaluate a risk.
• Identifies exposures and hazards relating to requested coverage and risk characteristics.
• Underwrites, prices and prepares Casualty quotes using product sets and filings.
• Prepares final quotation/proposal and presents to producer or insured.
