Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. in the United States seeks an Assistant Vice President within Arch Construction to lead technical underwriting and account management of Middle Market Construction Casualty programs for the central territory.

You will underwrite, price and present proposals, manage pre-renewals, and build broker relationships to drive growth while coordinating with risk engineering, claims and finance. This role requires deep underwriting expertise and leadership.

Qualifications

• Ten years of casualty underwriting experience with construction focus.
• Established broker relationships within the region preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training required.
• CPCU or CRIS designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and review new and renewal account information for risk evaluation.
• Underwrite, price and prepare casualty quote proposals for central territory.
• Lead post-bind activities: policy production, audits and adjustments.
• Develop agency relationships to generate submissions and growth.
• Coordinate with risk engineering, claims and finance as needed.
