Job summary

Argo Group in Richmond, VA, is seeking an AVP, Claims Quality Assurance & Performance Management to rebuild and evolve its QA program. You will define audit methodology, scoring, and governance, while linking QA results to KPI trends and leadership reporting.

This 100% in-office role requires leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with senior claims leaders to drive continuous improvement across guides and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; professional credentials such as CPCU, AIC, Six Sigma/Lean, PMP or Guidewire certifications preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive P&C claims experience with leadership in quality assurance, file audits, and performance management.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate QA findings into actionable improvements.
• Expertise with Guidewire ClaimsCenter, data analysis, KPI reporting, and executive-level communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reestablishment and evolution of Argo’s QA program, including audit methodology and scoring models.
• Develop analytics and reporting linking QA results to claims data, KPIs, and leadership dashboards.
• Oversee governance, compliance, and training initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the claims organization.
