An established industry player is seeking an Adjustments Manager to lead a dynamic team within the Money Movement department. SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing the Adjustments area within Money Movement, overseeing teams that process deposit adjustments and item processing, including deposit review. Supervises and leads staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly.
The Adjustments Manager collaborates with direct reports to drive tasks and deliver excellent customer service, and works with other Money Movement leaders to improve efficiency across multiple areas.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs supervisory duties in line with organizational policies and laws, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Maintains a professional demeanor, demonstrates effective communication skills, and interacts effectively at all organizational levels. Manages multiple priorities and delegates effectively under tight deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads a team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, manages staff hiring and training, oversees daily operations of adjustment items and deposit review, resolves complex issues, and partners with internal teams for cross-training and process improvements.
Designs, implements, and monitors processes, advocates for automation, maintains documentation, and identifies opportunities for efficiency and automation. Ensures compliance with SOX controls and other regulations.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Maintains proficiency in banking policies, laws, and regulations. Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of FIS IBS application is preferred. Ability to learn other banking systems is required.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), at least five years of banking experience with operations or money movement, and a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
