AVP & Adjustment Manager - Bank Operations

Locations: Multiple Locations (Remote within the Bank's footprint, occasional in-person meetings)

Market: Wheeling

Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years banking experience including banking operations, money movement, and/or exceptions processing
  • Strong knowledge of exceptions processing preferred
  • Minimum of two years' supervisory or leadership experience
Job Description

Summary: Responsible for managing the Adjustments area within Money Movement, overseeing deposit adjustments and item processing, and leading a team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely. Collaborates with team members and other leaders to drive efficiencies and excellent customer service.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Includes interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee discipline, in accordance with organizational policies and laws.

Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanor, effective communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a team-oriented attitude.

Essential Duties
  • Manage and lead the team in daily operations, including hiring, scheduling, and training
  • Oversee item processing and deposit review functions
  • Resolve complex issues and partner with internal teams for process improvements
  • Design and monitor processes, ensure automation and scalability
  • Provide staff training and develop metrics for performance improvement
  • Maintain SOX controls and compliance documentation
Other Requirements
  • Adhere to banking regulations and complete compliance training
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of account documentation, problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with banking systems like FIS IBS are preferred
