An established industry player is seeking an Adjustments Manager to oversee the Money Movement team. SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing and overseeing the Adjustments area within Money Movement. Leads teams that process deposit adjustments and item processing, including deposit review. Supervises staff to ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately.
The Adjustments Manager collaborates with direct reports to drive tasks and ensure excellent customer service. They also work with other leaders in the Money Movement team to improve efficiencies across multiple areas.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs supervisory duties in accordance with organizational policies and laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, and addressing employee issues.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Maintains a professional demeanor, with effective written and oral communication skills. Able to interact across all organizational levels and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads and manages a team, ensuring accurate and timely task completion. Handles staff hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Oversees daily operations of adjustment items and deposit reviews.
Resolves complex issues, partners with internal teams for cross-training, and develops processes for scalability and automation. Promotes automation and process improvements, maintains documentation, and ensures compliance with SOX controls.
Provides staff training, monitors metrics for improvement, and adheres to banking regulations and policies.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Requires proficiency in bank policies, laws, and regulations. Must complete compliance training timely. Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of FIS IBS preferred. Ability to learn new banking systems.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (preferred), at least five years of banking experience, including operations or exceptions processing, and a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
