Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing the Adjustments area within Money Movement, overseeing teams that process deposit adjustments and item processing, including deposit review. Supervises and leads staff to ensure timely and accurate task completion.

The Adjustments Manager collaborates with direct reports to drive tasks and ensure excellent customer service. Additionally, the role involves working with other leaders in the Money Movement team to improve efficiencies across multiple areas.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executes supervisory duties according to organizational policies and laws, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and employee discipline.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Maintains professional appearance and demeanor, with effective written and oral communication skills. Capable of interacting across all organizational levels, managing multiple priorities, and delegating effectively under tight deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads and manages a team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Handles hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversees daily operations of adjustment items and deposit review processes.
  • Resolves complex issues within the area.
  • Collaborates with internal partners for cross-training and process improvements.
  • Designs, implements, and monitors processes, advocating for automation and scalability.
  • Ensures effective application use and maintains process documentation.
  • Identifies opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
  • Provides staff training and monitors metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Maintains SOX control documentation and compliance standards.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must adhere to banking regulations, policies, and complete compliance training. Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of banking systems like FIS IBS. Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of five years banking experience and two years in a supervisory role.
