An established industry player is seeking an Adjustments Manager to oversee the Money Movement team. This role involves managing deposit adjustments and item processing, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and promptly. SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing the Adjustments area within Money Movement, overseeing teams that process deposit adjustments and item processing, including deposit review. Supervises and leads staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly.
The Adjustments Manager collaborates with direct reports to drive task completion and deliver excellent customer service. They also work with other leaders in the Money Movement team to improve efficiencies across multiple areas.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs supervisory duties in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and employee discipline.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor, with effective written and oral communication skills. Able to interact across all organizational levels, manage multiple priorities, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads a team to ensure timely and accurate task completion. Manages staffing, training, and performance evaluations. Oversees daily operations of adjustment items and deposit review functions.
Addresses complex issues, partners with internal teams for cross-training, and develops processes that support scalability and automation. Works to improve application use, maintain process documentation, and identify automation opportunities.
Serves as a change agent, seeks automation opportunities, and provides staff training. Monitors metrics for process improvements and maintains SOX control documentation.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Adheres to banking regulations, maintains proficiency in policies and procedures, and completes required compliance training. Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of FIS IBS application is preferred.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (preferred), at least five years of banking experience with operations or money movement, and a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
