Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer for on-site work at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD. The role involves developing software requirements, coordinating with vendors, and supporting system integration for aviation programs.

Applicants should have at least two years of software or systems engineering experience, knowledge of avionics, and an active Secret clearance. This is a full-time position with potential Top Secret clearance in the future.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in software or systems engineering activities.
• Knowledge of avionics systems and software.
• Active Secret clearance is required (Top Secret possible later).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support the ECP process and prepare SOWs/CDRLs.
• Develop IGCEs and support contractor evaluations.
