SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer for on-site work at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD. The role involves developing software requirements, integrating vendor software, and supporting agile processes within a compliance-driven environment.

The position requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance (potential upgrade to Top Secret) and US citizenship. Two years of software or systems engineering experience and knowledge of avionics systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of software or systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of avionics systems is required.
• Experience with military aviation software standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review vendor software specifications and assess compatibility.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Analyze software defects and support cybersecurity SMEs.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs).
• Support Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and IGCEs.
• Contribute to Agile and SAFe processes and deliverables.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDRLs.
