Job summary

Signature Aviation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead base operations for private aviation guests, crews, and residents. You will guide the Airside Experience and Guest Experience teams, ensure safety, SOP compliance, and exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced environment near aircraft and ground service equipment.

This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, plus hands-on duties and staff development.

• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team conducting base operations safely and efficiently per SOPs and policies.
• Manage Airside Experience and/or Guest Experience Teams, ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Interview, onboard, train, and manage team members; develop their engagement.
• Schedule and coordinate duties; conduct meetings and manage events.
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure all required airline training is completed.
• Serve as a resource on guest service and as an escalation point for inquiries.
• Assist with ramp operations to meet guest, client, and aircraft needs including fueling, de-icing, water services, and towing.
• Prepare for arriving/departing aircraft; identify open tasks and address safety concerns.
• Operate ground service equipment as needed; support regulatory compliance and audits.
• Manage inventory of base supplies and equipment; maintain security across premises.
• Maintain fuel inventories and related documentation; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Understand and enforce all safety, operational, and guest service requirements.
