Job summary

Signature Aviation is seeking an Airside Experience Leader to guide the Airside Experience team and ensure premier service for aircraft, crew, cargo, and guests with safety and hospitality in mind. You will oversee airside operations, resolve guest concerns, and escalate when beyond the Specialists’ scope.

The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, and working outdoors near active aircraft. Leadership, safety focus, and guest-centric service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience in aviation or cargo operations.
• Training and signed off for specialty responsibilities (e.g. towing, deicing) as base operations require.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
• Ability to pass company background checks and obtain airport security badge.
• Excellent vision and coordination to move and direct aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of Airside Experience Specialists and correct issues as needed.
• Coordinate duties and provide shift supervision to staff on shift.
• Provide on-the-job training and assistance to staff.
• Serve as a resource on guest service matters and escalation point for inquiries.
• Ensure safe, efficient airside operations per SOPs and clear communication.
• Collaborate with guests, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to meet service needs (cargo, fueling, de-icing, etc.).
• Prepare for arriving/departing aircraft and address safety concerns.
• Operate ground service equipment as trained (fuel trucks, de-icing, GPU, tugs, etc.).
• Load/unload luggage and cargo at the terminal and parking areas.
• Maintain safe, clean ramps and secure operations.
