Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation is seeking an Operations Control Agent to monitor and manage airport services, coordinating flight schedules, gate assignments, and ground support to ensure smooth operations.

You will communicate with airlines, ground staff and other stakeholders, respond to disruptions, and help enforce safety and regulatory standards while maintaining clear logs and data records.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information on paper and electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, computers, mobile devices).
• Able to liaise with airlines, ground staff and other stakeholders.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible for required credentials/clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the operational control center for airport services.
• Coordinate communication between ground handling, maintenance, and security departments.
• Track and report flight operations, departures, arrivals and delays.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety protocols.
• Respond quickly to operational disruptions and emergencies.
• Liaise with air traffic control and airline operations centers.
• Oversee contingency plans during irregular operations.
• Provide real-time information to stakeholders and maintain operating logs.
• Update the operational database and systems; analyze data for improvements.
• Support development and updating of standard operating procedures.
