Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an Operations Agent to oversee daily airport operations, including flight schedules, gate assignments, baggage handling, and emergency response coordination.

You will interact with airline staff, ground crews, and airport personnel to ensure safety and passenger satisfaction, while maintaining accurate logs and reports. This role requires strong communication, familiarity with airport operations, and the ability to work flexible

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum 1 year of airport operations or related experience.
• Strong understanding of airport operations and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with airport management software and systems.
• Ability to use IPads/Tablets, computers, and mobile devices.
• Excellent communication with colleagues and customers, in person and online.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible to obtain required credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Flexible to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities within the airport
• Monitor flight schedules, gate assignments, resources
• Liaise with airline reps, ground crew, and air traffic control
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards
• Respond promptly to operational issues and emergencies
• Provide timely flight status information to staff and passengers
• Manage passenger boarding and disembarking processes
• Oversee baggage handling and resolve issues
• Coordinate maintenance for aircraft and facilities
• Assist in implementing emergency response plans
• Monitor weather impacts on operations
• Prepare and maintain operational reports
• Participate in training programs
• Maintain high level of customer service

• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
