Job summary

Piedmont Airlines seeks a Customer Service Agent in our Ground Handling Department. You will assist passengers with boarding and disembarking flights, operate the Jetway, monitor boarding, and help park aircraft, delivering friendly service in all weather conditions.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, completion of the training course, and flexibility for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting rate and benefits accompany the position.

• Successful completion of training course.

• Preferred airline experience.
• Prior front-line customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
• Monitor computerized passenger boarding
• Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
• Change customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as required
• Operate the Jetway
• Load and unload baggage and cargo
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
• Guide and park aircraft
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks
• Work together as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
