Job summary

Amentum is actively seeking qualified Aviation Electronics Technicians to support U.S. Navy maintenance at NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA.

The Aircraft Worker performs repairs, troubleshooting, and inspections on aircraft structures, engines, and electrical systems, following manuals and safety standards. The role requires Navy AT A School training or equivalent, physical fitness for outdoor work, and the ability to interpret maintenance data.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Navy Aviation Electronics Technician AT “A” School or equivalent.
• Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory.
• Must be physically able to perform all assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
• Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures and components.
• Inspects engines, jet engine components, and testing equipment to locate malfunctions.
• Supervises jacking and towing of aircraft and documents maintenance actions.
