Zusammenfassung

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Structural Mechanic I to support U.S. Navy aviation maintenance operations at NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA.

The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding aircraft structures and components including engines, hydraulic systems, and flight controls. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of F/A-18 maintenance, Navy AM A-School or FAA A&P, and must obtain Collateral Duty Inspector qualification.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum three (3) years of actual and recent organizational-level F/A-18 A-G aircraft maintenance experience.
• Must have completed Navy Aviation Structural Mechanics AM “A” School or FAA A&P License.
• Must obtain Collateral Duty Inspector qualification within 30 days of promotion/hire date.
• Must have a valid Virginia or North Carolina Driver license (if North Carolina resident).
• Must be able to obtain a favorable T3 Secret eligibility status.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, and UPU/heating systems.
• Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures and components using hand and power tools.
• Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections and safety checks.
