Job summary

Agil3 Technology Solutions LLC (A3T) is seeking an experienced AV/VTC Technician to install, operate, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot AV and VTC systems supporting the U.S. Government.

You will support conference rooms, classrooms, and other spaces, performing checks and assisting users during events. The role requires 3–5+ years of AV/VTC experience, an active DoD Secret clearance, and DoD 8140/DCWF proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional AV/VTC or related support experience
• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• DoD 8140/DCWF Work Role 441 Advanced proficiency
• Experience installing, configuring, operating, maintaining AV/VTC equipment
• Experience supporting conference rooms, classrooms, or enterprise AV environments
• Experience troubleshooting AV equipment, displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, cabling, and peripherals
• Experience with video conferencing and collaboration technologies
• Experience providing real-time technical support during meetings and events
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on AV/VTC systems
• Ability to document equipment, maintenance, incident, and configuration information
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
• Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot AV/VTC equipment and systems
• Perform scheduled checks to ensure AV/VTC readiness
• Provide technical support for video conferences, meetings, presentations, and classes
• Set up AV/VTC equipment before events and verify audio/video/CI functionality
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, audio, video, and peripherals
• Diagnose AV issues and escalate to engineering for network or cybersecurity problems
• Support conference-room and classroom tech including displays, projectors, cameras, mics, speakers, control systems
• Assist users with video teleconferences and AV presentations
• Provide user instructions and technical assistance for AV/VTC operation
• Coordinate scheduling of VTC sessions and events requiring AV support
• Triage service requests and document troubleshooting steps and resolutions
• Coordinate with IT Service Desk, Systems Admins, and Network Engineers to resolve incidents
• Install, move, connect, disconnect, and configure AV/VTC equipment
• Support testing/validation of installed or upgraded AV/VTC gear
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify aging equipment
• Assist with equipment replacement, modernization, and lifecycle management
• Maintain accurate AV/VTC equipment records and inventory
• Maintain technical documentation and user guides
• Coordinate vendor or manufacturer technical support as needed
• Provide complex AV support for high-visibility events
