Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a Project Manager to oversee AV systems integration projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget while achieving safety and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate activities across Sales, Engineering, Programming, and Installation teams, manage budgets and schedules, and communicate with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

This role requires strong PM experience in AV/Construction/Technology, proficient MS Office and MS Project skills, and a proven

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industry.
• Proven project management and team leadership experience.
• Demonstrated management of multiple projects using sound time management skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interaction skills.
• Creative problem solving and investigation skills to identify complex problems and generate solutions.
• Understanding of all revenue, budget, margin and financial variance factors of assigned projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of technical, contractual and construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MSProject schedule software
• Employees operating company or personal vehicles for business purposes must be legally authorized to drive, maintain a valid driver’s license and provide proof of coverage.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow AVI-SPL standard processes and procedures.
• Be a subject matter expert with contract documents for each project.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings among Sales, Engineering, Programming, Fabrication & Installation, and third‑party resources.
• Identify and manage project risk; escalate as needed.
• Create and manage project schedules and coordinate resource scheduling.
• Manage project material/equipment orders.
• Track expenditures and communicate profitability issues to management.
• Provide status/progress reporting and escalate issues.
• Ensure quality of work by internal or subcontracted resources.
• Raise awareness of potential claims or large costs to management.
• Ensure scope, schedule, cost changes follow change order procedures.
• Gather close‑out documentation for Service teams.
• Maintain relationships with customers to improve on‑time delivery and satisfaction.
• Respond to customer communications professionally and timely.
• Drive project results to meet Net Promoter Score goals.
• Travel to job sites as required.
