Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee AV systems integration projects, ensuring they meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction targets. You will coordinate all activities to achieve on-budget completion per AVI-SPL processes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage schedules and resources, review contracts and construction documents, and maintain strong customer relationships to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the AV, Construction, Technology or related industry.
• Proven project management and team leadership experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects with strong time management and detail orientation.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Creative problem solving and ability to identify complex problems and solutions.
• Understanding of revenue, budget, margin and financial variances of projects.
• Knowledge of technical, contractual and construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn and comply with AVI-SPL standard processes and procedures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on project contracts, scopes, schedules, and drawings.
• Coordinate kickoff meetings among Sales, Engineering, Programming, Fabrication & Installation, and clients.
• Identify and manage project risks; escalate issues as needed.
• Create and manage project schedules; coordinate resource scheduling.
• Manage orders for materials and equipment.
• Monitor expenditures and profitability; communicate issues to management.
• Provide status updates and progress reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality of work by internal and subcontracted resources.
• Raise potential cost issues promptly and manage changes per procedures.
• Gather close-out documentation for AVI-SPL Service teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure on-time delivery, quality, and communication.
• Respond promptly to client communications and resolve concerns.
• Aim to achieve AVI-SPL Net Promoter Score targets.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Perform additional tasks to support the team and adapt to priorities.
