Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee AV systems integration projects from start to finish. You will ensure on-time delivery, adherence to scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction per AVI-SPL processes.

You’ll coordinate kickoff meetings and manage risks, schedules, and orders while maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities include controlling costs, reporting progress, handling change orders, and ensuring subcontractor performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in AV, Construction, Technology or related industry.
• Proven project management and team leadership experience.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interaction skills.
• Creative problem solving to identify complex problems.
• Understanding of revenue, budget, margin and financial variance factors.
• Knowledge of technical, contractual and construction documents.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project

Responsibilities

• Learn and comply with AVI-SPL standard processes and procedures.
• Be a subject matter expert with contract documents for each project.
• Facilitate internal and external project kickoff meetings.
• Identify and manage project risk; escalate as needed.
• Create and manage project schedules and resource planning.
• Facilitate project material and equipment orders.
• Manage expenditures based on project budget and communicate issues.
• Provide status/progress reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality of work by internal or subcontracted resources.
• Raise awareness of potential claims or large costs to management.
• Handle scope, schedule, cost, or change orders per procedures.
• Supply close-out documentation to AVI-SPL Service teams.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure on-time delivery.
• Respond promptly to customer problems or concerns.
• Aim to meet Net Promoter Score goals.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
