Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations, focusing on customer service, staff leadership and development. You will direct the technical team to ensure operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction, and may assist with location administrative duties.

In this role you will manage event setups, supervise AV equipment deployment and breakdown, train technicians, and uphold Encore’s service standards while coordinating with venue management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• External applicants must meet/train within 60 days of start date; internal staff follow Learning Program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities for timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs technicians and suggests operational efficiencies to management.
• Ensures flowsheets are updated and proper.
• Communicates effectively for event management.
• Attends venue meetings as needed.
• Provides exceptional service and maintains client relationships on site.
• Trains technicians on floor activities and standards.
• Performs AV setup, operation, troubleshooting and breakdown.
• Maintains safety and security of equipment.
• Conducts inventory and supports asset management.
