Job summary

Lyft Flexdrive is seeking an experienced Repair Operations Lead to run day-to-day service operations for our AV fleet in Nashville. You will lead a paired leadership role, mentor repair coordinators, and ensure partner technicians meet quality and turnaround targets.

The role emphasizes people leadership over deep technical focus, with shift coverage for 5:00 PM–1:30 AM, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in fleet maintenance, automotive service operations, or related field.
• 3+ years leading technical teams including hiring, training, and performance management.
• 2+ years developing and delivering technical training programs.
• Experience with electric vehicle systems, diagnostics, and advanced automotive technologies (AV preferred).
• Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and KPI tracking.
• Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and third-party oversight.
• ASE certifications preferred; ability to obtain partner certifications within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day repair operations and supervise onsite repair partner technicians.
• Balance workload, optimize repair workflows, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Coach and onboard repair coordinators; provide regular feedback and mentorship.
• Monitor fleet health, performance metrics, and safety compliance.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and manage parts/inventory coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge management across depot operations.
