Job summary

Flexdrive, a Lyft subsidiary, is hiring a Depot Operations Associate for its Nashville AV depot. You will ensure vehicle readiness, manage charging and cleaning, perform calibration tasks, and support 24/7 operations.

The role requires flexibility for shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and adherence to strict SOPs. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, data security, and issue escalation to the Depot Operations Lead.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in automotive technology, logistics, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in automotive, fleet operations, logistics, or similar hands-on operational environment.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record (required for calibration driving duties).
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and understand technical procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to follow complex SOPs and maintain quality standards.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Readiness & Preparation: Perform pre-deployment safety checks and end-of-day diagnostics to ensure operational readiness.
• Vehicle State Transitions: Move vehicles through states with checklists, sensor inspections, and verifications.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect vehicles per partner standards and document issues.
• Task Execution: Manage daily tasks via digital task management system.
• Charging, Cleaning & Fleet Servicing: Maintain cleanliness, manage charging, perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Data Management & Security: Handle data transfers and device tracking with chain of custody.
