Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. The role reports to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and requires on-site coordination with clients and hotel staff.

You will handle equipment setup, operation, and teardown, troubleshoot issues, document orders in Navigator, and maintain relationships with clients throughout events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment safely and on time.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and communicate effectively with clients.
• Manage paperwork and order entries, including Navigator system.
• Collaborate with hotel staff and outside vendors as needed.
