Job summary

Flexdrive is seeking an experienced Operations Lead to manage afternoon shift operations at our Nashville depot. You will lead a safety-focused team, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive incident response and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong operational leadership, safety expertise, and the ability to manage complex compliance requirements while maintaining high team performance. On-site with a day window shift pattern, some weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in operational management roles within safety-critical environments.
• 3+ years of experience in safety management, EHS compliance, or risk management with 24/7 operations.
• Proven track record of leading teams in high-pressure environments while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring third-party compliance with standards.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to interface with multiple stakeholders.
• Required certifications: Valid driver's license with clean driving record; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership & Team Management: Lead and oversee depot operations during assigned shifts, manage performance and workflow.
• Personnel Development: Conduct one-on-ones, reviews, and coaching to foster safety-first mindset.
• Real-Time Staff Management: Maintain real-time staff availability and shift handovers for critical functions.
• Escalation Management: Primary escalation point for urgent issues, coordinating with partner teams.
