Job summary

SSCI, Inc. seeks an Autonomy Software Engineer I to join the core AI-enabled Autonomy Software team. You will contribute to day-to-day agile software engineering for initial development, DevSecOps, CI/CD integration, and ongoing testing using modeling and simulation platforms.

You will also support autonomy software integration and test for multiple programs aligned with customer objectives. Essential functions include migrations to SSCI’s Digital Engineering Environment, software documentation,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field and software R&D in AI for robotics or autonomous systems.
Experience leading autonomy software within an integration team to achieve operational capabilities.
Experience with modern software tool chains, including build, test, documentation, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

Migrate Scientific Systems software to SSCI Digital Engineering Environment to support DoD requirements.
Write and review software documentation.
Support development sprints and code reviews.
Develop software to meet program milestones using Agile methodologies.
Support Prime and customer-facing interactions.
Stay current with industry trends in autonomy, robotics, and software engineering.
