Scientific Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance autonomous flight systems and uncrewed collaboration. You will develop software for AI/ML programs powering multi-vehicle autonomy, and collaborate with teams to integrate results into a unified architecture.

The role requires a solid track record in robotics software, strong C/C++ and Python skills, and experience with modern toolchains. A hybrid work schedule is offered, with potential travel to test events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field.
• 4+ years in software development/AI for robotics or autonomous systems.
• Experience delivering modular, production-quality autonomy software.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; memory-safe languages desired.
• Familiar with modern tool chains (Git, CI/CD, Jira/Confluence) and testing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop autonomous vehicle software for multi-vehicle systems.
• Provide technical expertise to design, implement, and test autonomy software.
• Support integration into a unified software architecture and customer presentations.
• Collaborate across teams in autonomy, vehicle systems, and systems engineering.
• Occasional travel to remote test events; ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.
