Scientific Systems Company, Inc. seeks a Lead Autonomy Software Engineer to drive cutting-edge autonomy solutions for Group 3-5 UAS. You will lead a small engineering team, integrate mission autonomy tech, and coordinate with customers on prime interactions.

The role requires expertise in C/C++, Python, robotics, and edge platforms, plus strong leadership and proposal experience. Hybrid work and US security requirements apply.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of autonomy technology development with team leadership; MS with 5+ years; or PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience leading proposals and winning contracts.
• Experience building software for edge platforms.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, and related languages.

• Lead a team to develop innovative autonomy solutions addressing customer requirements.
• Serve as subject matter expert in mission autonomy technologies.
• Support or lead marketing and proposal efforts in mission autonomy.
• Manage team milestones and prime/customer interactions.
• Stay current with industry trends and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
