Job summary

May Mobility is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Specialist to coordinate daily logistics and support AV operations, reporting to the Site Operations Manager. You will ensure a safe, positive rider experience for our customers and AVOs while collaborating across teams.

This role requires leadership potential, experience in a technology-focused environment, and strong Google Workspace skills. Weekend availability and 0–10% travel may be required to support multiple sites.

• Experience with data collection and organization in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple platforms.
• Leadership potential with the ability to coach and lead by example.
• Proven customer-service mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work across levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support autonomous vehicles in real time during operations.
• Ensure shift safety protocols are followed and site performance tracked.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for timely resolutions.
• Train and develop vehicle operators through coaching and ride-alongs.
• Log feedback and monitor vehicle health using company tools.
• Maintain accurate records of operations and incidents.
• Interact with the public as an ambassador for May Mobility.
• Test software changes with focus on safety; travel to other sites as needed.
