Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California is seeking a Store Manager in California to lead service selling, parts and back shop operations. You will recruit, develop and inspire teams, ensure safety and efficiency, and drive customer satisfaction through in-store execution of programs and standards.

Responsibilities include directing daily store activities, coaching staff on service processes, maintaining productivity, and achieving sales goals while upholding company policies and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in automotive service environment.
• Two-year college, technical program, or 1–3 years service industry experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to apply basic math to commissions and discounts.
• Experience as a work lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct and indirect reports per policies and safety codes.
• Direct, instruct and manage a team of associates; hire, coach and discipline as needed.
