Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California is hiring for a front-line Customer Service Associate in an automotive retail setting. You will engage customers, schedule service appointments, and sell parts and services to help cars run at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, assisting with vehicle inspections, and maintaining a safe, organized store environment while following all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in automotive or retail preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Must understand basic math for discounts and commissions.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers by phone and in-store; sell parts and service and schedule appointments.
• Organize service work orders and register transactions; know product and service offerings.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, refunds, and returns; assist management with issues.
